Bidding opportunities
STORMWATER improvements:
The Village of Alexandria will be accepting estimates to improve our storm water system on North Liberty and Mill Streets.
We would like estimates to replace under road storm water lines under North Liberty and Mill Streets, as well as building or repairing catch basins as diagrammed on the maps.
You may contact Council Members Karen Holt at 614-329-1907 or Brian Dague at 614-554-6086 to met to review the proposed projects.
Estimates should be detailed as to the planned materials. Estimates can be submitted for cutting and repairing the road, or underground boring. 8” storm drains should be estimated. Fill should be compacted gravel (not flash fill).
This is not a prevailing wage job.
Please submit your sealed estimate, along with bonding and insurance documents by Dec 1 at 7 pm, for one or both projects to:

Parker Community Park Board of Trustees, Village of Alexandria, invites sealed bid proposals for their ODNR Nature Works “Mill Race/Hemlock Trail Walk Trail” Project. Sealed bid proposals will be taken from date of this ad through 12 Noon, Monday, Oct. 5 by mail or by personal delivery to:
Alexandria Village Offices, 4 W. Main, Alexandria, OH 43001.
Sealed bid proposals will be opened at special meeting on Monday, Oct. 5 at 7:30 PM, 4 W. Main St., Alexandria, OH; project will be awarded to lowest responsible bidder.

Offices of the Mayor, Fiscal Officer, Administrator, Utilities, Planning & Zoning Departments plus Council Chambers are located at 4 W. Main St.
Water/Sewer payments can be dropped into the night deposit box.

Alexandria Village Council meets at 7 pm on the 1st and 3rd Tuesday of each month.
Alexandria Planning Commission meets at 7 pm on the Second Tuesday of each month.
Park Board meets at 7 pm on the first Wednesday of each month.
Museum Board meets at 10:30 on the second Saturday of each month at the Museum located at 23 W. Main St.
Mayor's Court is held 1 or 2 Mondays each month at 7 pm. Cases are heard by the Magistrate. Mayors Court is held at 119 Granville St. (Fines may be paid at Mayor's Court or Mailed to PO Box 96, Alexandria, OH 43001)
