Over a hundred years ago essential supplies were carried to the pioneers by means of a pack mule led by a trail scout. Times may have changed, but people still need supplies. And this even includes churches and gospel preachers.
Schools provide substitute teachers to help in the absence of full-time teachers. Unfortunately, unless a church has a second man (or qualified laymen) to "step-in" in the event of sickness, emergency, travel or vacation of the pastor, many pastors and churches are stuck. Well, help is on the way.
PULPIT SUPPLY SERVICE
My name is Mark Dowler and I have been lay-preaching and teaching the gospel for twenty-five years. I attend Fellowship Baptist Church in Vienna, WV. I served as a Junior Church leader from 1991 to 2003. Before that I have taught Sunday School and worked in the teen ministry for several years.
Some of you may know me from my work as Professor Mark and the Bible Science Safari, while others may know me through my work in the Junior Church Journal. I have enjoyed a successful ministry for many years and preach and teach often in other churches, youth conferences, creation conferences, Senior Saints meetings, and Christian and home school activities.
If I can be of any service to you as pulpit supply, please don't hesitate to contact me. We are willing to travel and are available on a short notice. We offer our pulpit service free of charge, however love offerings will be accepted and appreciated.
