OUR HISTORY
Shaundretta Boykins and LaZette Pannell met at a local assembly they were both attending. After Shaundretta expressed to the pastor how she wanted to be a blessing to her church, he suggested that she meet up with LaZette and do a financial workshop to enlighten the parishioners. The first one was such a success that the two of us were asked to do one the following week and to avail ourselves to counsel those who needed individualized attention. We were both thinking that our talents and annointing could be used to edify others and we began talking about developing a non-profit that would help deliver people from the oppression of poverty, money miss-management and financial illiteracy. We both began thinking of names for the business and were unsuccessful until one day Shaundretta sat down at her computer and she saw on the screen, an image of a cross with two scales on either side and the Holy Spirit spoke to her and said "Calvary Creates Balance" and that would become the name. We both are women of God who have the ministry of helps and we posses true servant's hearts. We discussed what areas we wanted to serve people in and this became the evolution of our products and services that we would provide. With so many similarities, so many unique qualities and after only knowing one another for three months, we have developed a partnership, friendship and sisterhood that would not be destroyed. This is just our beginning, our history is yet being written... |
