Some great attractions . . .  the whole family will love the awesome Center of Science and Industry (COSI). With four floors of hands-on exhibits and wonderful demonstrations, areas like the Jeffrey Coal Mine and Street of Yesteryear come alive. While you're there don't forget to check out the regualarly changing planetarium shows and the high-wire cycle.

What is a sea cow anyway? The Columbus Zoo has the answer! The adventure starts with "Manatee Coast" but don't stop there. Other marvelous animals, including cheetahs and lowland gorillas, await your visit. Don't forget to check out the country's largest reptile collection to complete the adventure.

Ohio Historical Center: 60,000 square feet of hands-on exhibits range from the time of the mastadons through the development of Ohio's modern cities. The 1999 program "All That Jazz" promises to thrill you with segments like "JazzOhio," which highlights the contributions of stars like Nancy Wilson and Roland Kirk. Ohio Village invites visitors to experience an 1860's town complete with dirt roads and picket fences. Don't forget to visit the general store, one-room school house and see the featured baseball team. Try a variety of old-fashioned activities and see the Santa Maria - an authentic replica of Christopher Columbus' flagship. You'll be amazed by its size!
  Night Life and sports!

Choose from offerings in German Village, Short North and OSU campus. With themed restaurants, nightclubs, comedy clubs, concerts, and discotheques, night owls will find plenty to do! Check out the Columbus Alive Wired link located in the left column to get current information on entertainment.

If sports thrill you, you've come to the right place!
Check out the Ohio State University Buckeyes. As a Big 10 "powerhouse," the University has 34 cvarsity sports - more than any other university in the country.

The Columbus Crew Stadium, the first soccer-specific stadium in soccer history, hosts Ohio's Columbus Crew which debuted in 1996. A great choice for an action-packed adventure!

The Columbus Clippers, the class AAA New York Yankees affiliate, thrill fans at Copper Stadium. A must-see for lovers of America's pastime.

Don't forget to see the NHL's newest franchise, the Colubus Blue Jackets, when they start "making hockey history in 2000."
