Ok, so some of these questions haven't been asked all that frequently, but we thought we'd share them with you anyway...

Q: What is Improv?
A: Webster (a great improviser in his own right) says that improv is "to compose, recite, sing, or play extemporaneously; to make, invent, or arrange offhand; to fabricate out of what is conveniently on hand."
Simply put, it is making things up off-hand and off the top of one's head. Improvisational comedy can be in the form of short improv games, or long form shows (a.k.a. Harolds). Point of No Return currently does short game improv.

Q: Where is the Quirk Center?
A: 1201 Grant St. in Cuyahoga Falls. Grant is parallel to Broad Blvd, and runs between Second St. and State Rd. The Quirk Center is near the intersection of Grant and 12th St. It's an old elementary school that has been converted into a cultural center, so it's in the middle of a residential neighborhood. It's handicap accessible and there is plenty of parking.

Q: Can I buy a drink at your show? How about food?
A: We perform in a theatre setting, so there is no 2 drink minimum!!! Heck, there aren't even tables, just comfy theatre seats. There is a vending machine for the brave and thirsty before and after the show.

Q: Do I need reservations?
A: Well, it's hard to do improv if you have reservations since the whole point is to be spontaneous... ok, someday, we hope you will need to stand in line overnight to get tickets to our show. For now, it's all general admission, with tickets available at the door. (Comedy Theatre Workshop runs its own box office -- The Quirk Center does not have tickets.)

Q: How did you guys get started doing this?
A: Lost a bet. Next question. Seriously, click on "How Did We Get to the Point of No Return" on the left of your screen to read all the gorey details. And thanks for asking.

Q: How clean is your show? And is it still funny anyway?
A: Our show is "PG-13" suitable for teens and adults. And yes, we're still funny!

Q: Can I be in your improv troupe, huh, can I, can I, please? A: Look at our answer to this question under "Auditions" to the left.

Q: Weren't there more of you?
A: Yes, there were. They died. Actually, they didn't die. Yet. They just left. Hungry, I guess. For pizza. Someday they may return. Stuffed full of pizza...

Q: What are the psychological benefits of attending a Point of No Return performance?
A: Sometimes the world seems dull and gray. Time moves on and your friends wash away. You wonder why you were put on this Earth, wonder when you will die, and forget the day of your birth. Though you may forget when your birthday comes each year, there will always be a celebration of life on in here.

Q: You didn't answer my last question.
A: No, I didn't. But ask yourself ...did you?

Q: Why are all your answers getting weirder?
A: This from the guy who asked the question "Do I need reservations?"?!?

Q: You're mean.

A: No, you're mean.
