Creating Excellence in Volunteer Administration

The Miami Valley Association of Volunteer Administrators was established in 1994. Our mission is to promote the professional management of volunteer programs in the community and enhance the knowledge, skills, and professional image of managers of volunteer programs.

Purpose and Objectives
  • To encourage and assist members to improve their skills and develop their knowledge.
  • To provide a medium for the exchange of information and ideas.
  • To promote and provide educational opportunities for volunteer managers.
  • To cultivate and expand public awareness of the value of a professional volunteer manager.
Luncheon meetings, usually brown-bags, are held on the third Wednesday of every month, from 11:30am to 1:30pm. Meeting locations change each month as we use this as an opportunity for members to host networking and site visits. See Calendar for meeting dates and locations.
