Mission Statement "The purpose of the East High School Alumni Association is to provide scholarships for college bound seniors of East High School. The Association provides financial and human resource assistance to students and programs of East High School, where feasible. The Association receives and disburses funds from annual membership dues, bequests, gifts, grants, individuals, firms, corporations, and other organizations. Any person who has graduated from East High School, attended East High School, or otherwise supports the purpose of the Association shall be eligible for membership in the Association."

I congratulate and applaud the Class of 2010 and wish you well in your endeavors. The world is yours. Your opportunities are boundless, as is widely proven by this year's Presidential campaign. Go; learn; teach; excel; do! Whatever it is that you've decided to do with your post-high school years, be your absolute best at it! You are our future, and we have faith that you will be a successful and productive member of society in the capacity of your choosing.
Please allow me the opportunity, on behalf of myself, the Officers, our Executive Board Chair (Rhonda Young-Hurt) and Board of Directors, & the membership, to extend special thanks to Dr. Eugene T.W. Sanders, CEO of the CMSD, for taking the time to continue to meet with me and the other extremely concerned parties with regards to the fate of our Alma Mater. I thank Dr. Sanders for keeping open ears and an open mind throughout the entire process and for remaining true to his word.
I would also again like to take this opportunity to welcome all that are staunch supporters of the EHSAA and to encourage you to continue to support us in our endeavors in "Leaving No One Behind". I also encourage and invite all alumni to join the Official EHSAA, and assist us in providing scholarships and assistance via fund raisers, etc. Through these events, we afford ourselves the opportunity to reunite and fellowship, and its a great time each time!
