2009-10 Sunday Morning Christian Education Schedule

The focus this year on educating our youngest members, grades 5 and under, will be at the 10:30a hour, during Children's Church.

There will still be the following offered at 9:30a:

Adult Faith Formation

FROGs (jr. and sr. high youth)

"_______" (5th grade and under)

Also, nursery will still be offered at the 10:30a service.

Make a Difference Day - Saturday, October 24

Jr. and Sr. High Youth (the FROGs) will be spending the morning helping out those members of our congregation with their fall clean up chores. Start time: 9:00a.

FROGs to go to the Freaky Factory - Saturday October 31

Join in the fun as we head up to Fredericktown and get scared at Kyle's Freaky Factory!

Trunk or Treat - Sunday, October 25

This year's Trunk or Treat will take place following the 10:30a worship service, so that more people can be involved in the handing out of candy to the youth in the community. Come one, come all, come in costume to church!

Hoe-Down - Saturday, November 7

Caller Wayne King returns to call our 3rd Annual Hoe-Down - square dancing and fun for everyone.

FISH (Fellows in Service to Highwater) Un-Mystery Trip - Saturday, November 14

We're heading out to Coshocton to shoot clay targets - all men welcome! Bring a friend!

Hanging of the Greens/Fellowship Meal - Sunday, November 22

Immediately following the 10:30a worship service we'll have our congregational meeting to approve the budget; enjoy a fellowship meal, and decorate the church for Advent.

Community Thanksgiving Service - Sunday, November 22, 7:00p

Highwater Church will host our first community-wide Thanksgiving service. A joint effort with Liberty Church and Fredonia Baptist, any members of these congregations or the neighborhood are invited - traditional Thanksgiving music provided and the message will be brought by Rev. Roger Nichol of Liberty UMC.

Cookie Walk - Saturday, December 6, 9:00a

Our second annual Cookie Walk features cookies made by the wonderful bakers of Highwater!

Christmas Caroling - Sunday, December 6, 5:30pb>

All ages welcome as we lift our voices with joy to announce the birth of our Savior. The party doesn't stop with the singing, but with cookies and hot chocolate for all.

Christmas Program - Sunday, December 13

Come listen to the children in our church proclaim the birth of our Savior with this year's Christmas program "Christmas letters". This is an evening event that includes a potluck, so bring a friend.
