Welcome!
Highwater is a friendly congregation of the United Church of Christ located in North Central Licking County. Visitors are most welcome. If you come as a visitor, we hope you leave your visit as a friend, and come back again soon.
Mission Statement Highwater Congregational Church, United Church of Christ, will be an active family of faith in North Central Licking County, dedicated to building awareness of God, Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit through meaningful worship, diverse service, and genuine fellowship.
2010 Sunday Morning Christian Education Schedule
The focus this year on educating our youngest members, grades 5 and under, will be at the 10:30a hour, during Children's Church.
There will still be the following offered at 9:30a:
Adult Faith Formation - Mary Jo Layman
FROGs (grades 9-12) - Paula Olson and Debbie Smetts
FROGs/Confirmation Class (grades 6-8) - Rev. Ed Lopeman
5th grade and under - Becky Campbell
Also, a supervised nursery will be offered at the 10:30a service.

Sunday, January 10, 2010 will be Rev. Lopeman's first Sunday at Highwater. Stay tuned for when an official Highwater welcome will take place (that means food!)
8:30AM Worship Service
Service held in the Sanctuary
9:30AM Faith Formation Hour
- Adult Sunday School
- FROGs (Fully Relying on God)- Grades 6-12
- Pre-K to 5th grade
this service often includes Special Music. Children's Church Provided every Sunday
The Sacrament of Holy Communion is celebrated the first Sunday of every month, at both services, and on other special occassions throughout the year.
The Sacrament of Baptism is arranged with the pastor and is held in conjunction with a worship service.
Our church building is accessible.
We have a:
- Ground level elevator
- ADA restrooms (men and women)
- Wheelchair seating in sanctuary
- Sound system in Sanctuary & Legg Center
- Let us know what else we should do
We welcome children of all ages at our services.
In addition, we provide:
- Cry Room above the sanctuary
- Nursery care during worship services
- Children's Church is available for children up through 5th grade during most of the 10:30 services
