A CANDIDATES FORUM co-sponsored by The League of Women Voters of Trumbull County and The A. Philip Randolph Institute will be held on TUESDAY, OCTOBER 13, 2015 from 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm at Warren G. Harding High School, 860 Elm Rd. NE, Warren.
Featured are candidates for the following races: Warren Law Director, Warren City Mayor and Warren Board of Education.

On Wednesday, October 14, the LWV of Trumbull County will co-sponsor a Candidates Forum with the Lordstown Historical Society at Lordstown High School. Doors will open at 5:30 p.m. and the forum will start promptly at 6:00 p.m.

The LWV of Trumbull County Voter Information Guide for 2015 is being printed. The Voter Guides will be distributed to all Senior Centers, all area high schools, all public libraries and various business locations.

The League of Women Voters of Trumbull County is a nonpartisan political organization, which encourages the informed and active participation of citizens in government, works to increase understanding of major public policy issues, and influences public policy through education and advocacy.
The League neither supports or opposes any political party or candidate. Membership is open to any person interested in educating oneself in or volunteering oneself in the community as representatives of the League of Women Voters.
All membership meetings are open to the public and meet on the 4th Monday of the month at different locations in the county. All meeting locations and times are published on our website and in all local medias, as well as on our FACEBOOK page at "LWV of Trumbull County, Ohio".
Your membership in the LWV of Trumbull County automatically gives you membership in the State League (LWV of Ohio) as well as the National League (LWV of the United States).

The LWV of Trumbull County holds membership in the following local organizations:
Trumbull County Township Association - Local government organization which is a part of the Ohio Township Association, a statewide organization dedicated to promoting and preserving township government in Ohio, through lobbying efforts and educational forums. The Association was founded on June 28, 1928, and is organized in 87 Ohio counties. The OTA has more than 5,200 active members, made up of trustees and fiscal officers from Ohio's 1,308 townships, and more than 4,000 associate members. comprised of township trustees, fiscal officers and various supporters.
GFWC Warren City Federation of Women's Clubs - The purpose of the Warren City Federation of Women's Clubs is to promote civic welfare through united club efforts and to afford facilities for helpful interchange of ideas and club programs, and to perpetuate and to advance the work of the Ohio Federation of Women's Clubs and General Federation of Women's Clubs.
Member Clubs include: Altrusa, American Association of University Women - Trumbull County, American Sewing Guild - Niles Chapter,Fifth Wheel, League of Women Voters of Trumbull County, St. Joseph Health Center Auxiliary, Salvation Army Women's Auxiliary, Trumbull County Federation of Democratic Women, Trumbull Mobile Meals, Trumbull New Theater Women's Committee, Trumbull Travel Club, Warren Auxiliary VFW 1090, Warren Civic League, GFWC OHIO Warren Junior Women's League, Warren Republican Women's Club, Warren Women's Club and Upton Association.

The object of this organization shall be to bring the Women’s Organizations of the county into closer touch with one another for the furtherance of any good cause, which may be of common interest.
