Brush truck assist Wayne Twp. on a field fire

July 2, 2008

At 1525 todays date the Massie Twp. Volunteers were dispatched to assist Wayne Twp. Fire Dept. on a field fire. Brush 28 went responding. Upon arrival they were assigned to extingush the vehicle that caught the wheat field on fire. Once the fire was out all the units went back available. units in service approx. 1 hr.

MVA with entrapment on I71 SB

July 1, 2008

At 1540 todays date the Massie Twp. Volunteers were dispatched along with the Turtlecreek Fire Dept (Station 31)to assist the Clinton Warren Joint Fire District with an engine each for an MVA with entrapment on I71 sb at the 39 mm. Engine 32-2 and Chief 32 went responding shortly after dispatch followed by Engine 28. Engine 28 had to make it through a 6 mile backup to get to the scene. Once on scene the engine crew found a Ford Explorer that had rear ended a tractor trailer at a high rate of speed. The crews from Clinton Warren Joint Fire District already had everyone out of the vehicle. Engine 32-2's crew was the LZ while Chief 32 and Engine 28's crew assisted with patient care. Once Air Care arrived, the patient was loaded and transported to MHV. Engine 28, Engine 32-2 and Chief 32 all went back available. units in service approx. 1 hr

April 17, 2008

On todays date the Massie Twp. volunteers were dispatched to fill house at Station 91 in Wanye Twp while there crews were out on a working structure fire. Shortly after the dispatch the station was on the air. Engine 28 went responding w/3. Chief 29 went responding w/1. Once at Station 91 the members hung out awaiting calls. Rescue 91 and Chief 91 returned from the structure fire. All 28 units went back available. Units in service approx. 3 hrs.
