to be sold at our 56th Annual Used Book Sale, March 15-18, 2012, to raise money for college scholarships.

AAUW Mason-Lebanon Branch

 Donations Accepted

Tuesday Mornings, 10am-11:30am, except November 22, December 20, and December 27

Saturday Mornings, 10am-11:30am, beginning January 7, 2012

Donations may be dropped off at the AAUW sale site at Towne Mall, Loading Dock D, which faces State Route 122. Look for the AAUW signs at Store 456 near Elder-Beerman.

Middletown-AAUW's 2010-11 year was recognized with the following awards, presented at the AAUW-Ohio State Convention, April 9-10, in Akron

Starz Award with Honors - to receive this award, Middletown Branch

  • Sent representatives to the 2010 AAUW Ohio Convention
  • Sent representatives to the 2010 Leadership Conference
  • Submitted our Branch Officer list to State in timely fashion
  • Submitted Branch dues by August 1 deadline
  • Contributed to LAF and EF
  • Held a minimum of 5 Branch meetings
  • Published newsletters and program books
  • Kept our website updated
  • Collaborated in community projects and promoted diversity in our programming

Daffodil Diversity Award - to receive this award, Middletown Branch

  • Showed awareness of physical challenges when choosing meeting locations
  • Encouraged branch programs that celebrate diversity themes in our community
  • Held meetings discussing women's issues, such as human trafficking
  • Forged community partnerships such as Light Up Middletown and Middfest International
