The Voluntary Simplicity group meets on the third Tuesday of each month with the mission "to serve as a support group and to explor way to simplify life, being sensitive to our families, the environment, and the world around us."

Time is set aside at each meeting to share excerpts from books and articles about simplifying our lives and taking care of ourselves and the environment.

Tuesday, January 17, 2012, 7pm, at Becky's: Topic: Transforming Your Relationship with Money"

"Simple living is not an end in itself but a beans to knowing oneself and living a happy life through the pursuit of deeper and more spiritual things. People can live simply and be base and spiritless as well. It's the vision and purpose behind our living choices that count most." - Henry David Thoreau
