Scholarships

Middletown AAUW raises funds by conducting an annual used book sale. Book sale proceeds support local, state, and national scholarships.
Locally, we make awards both to traditional college-age students and to nontraditional returning students. The application process for these scholarships is administered by the Middletown Community Foundation.
At the state level, Middletown AAUW provides funds for local students to attend Be WISE Camp, a mathematics, science, and technology camp for 7th and 8th grade girls. The camp, sponsored by AAUW Ohio, is held annually at Denison University.
Middletown AAUW also contributes to AAUW's Educational Opportunities Fund which supports a variety of fellowships and grants for education and community development. For more information on these opportunities, visit AAUW's Fellowships and Grants website.
