State of Ohio

The Buckeye State welcomes you! With three of its major cities included in the list of America's largest cities, Ohio has something for every visitor. Major cities like Columbus, Cleveland, Youngstown, Toledo, and Akron offer some of the most unique attractions in the country.

Ready to Rock and Roll! The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and Museum waits on the shores of Lake Erie to welcome you into its 150,000 square foot museum known as the "glass pyramid on the Lake." Get the whole story of the essence of the music. The creative energy of the live performances, the audio and visual technologies, rock's role as a catalyst for social change, and memorable moments in the history of rock and roll will transport you back to your youth! Others will enjoy the Great Lakes Science Center or the Metroparks Zoo. Sea World of Ohio and world-class cultural and performing arts give a great variety for both day and evening entertainment.

Toledo
Check out COSI, the hands-on science museum for kids of all ages. In the mood for some fantastic gourmet goodies? The Erie Street Market is a must-see. For riverfront dining check out the sophisticated Old Navy Bistro or the Maumee Bay Brewing Company. For the exotic, try the Arawanna Belle, an authentic paddle wheel boat. Don't forget while you're here to stop by Tony Packo's Cafe.

Akron
Look for our midwest warmth and friendliness while enjoying world-class attractions like Canal Park, home of the Cleveland Indians' AA team, or the Broadway-style performing arts hall. Check out the Carousel Dinner Theatre or world-famous Harry London's Chocolate Factory. There is much to see and do outdoors as well, with many lakes, hiking and bike trails, ski resorts and golf courses.

Amish Country
A land of plain people who forsake modern conveniences for a simpler way of life. Through this region's back-to-basics lifestyle we can learn about the important things in life. Simple pleasures like a home-cooked meal, a hand-made piece of furniture or the world-famous Amish quilts remind us to slow down and enjoy the day.

Youngstown
The Butler Institute of American Art, the Mahoning Courthouse, Powers Auditorium and the city's ornate churches all resulted from this community's labor of love. Mill Creek Park with its unique festival and distinct shopping areas testify to a community with a powerful commitment.
