Bike Safety Rodeo - May 3, 2008
Boy Scout Troop 243 will sponsor a Bike Safety Rodeo on Saturday, May 3 from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at Perry Middle School, 2341 Snouffer Road in Worthington. Participation will be on a first come, first served basis.

Swamp Romp - May 10, 2008
Packs, troops, and crews – if you’re looking for a great conservation project or need to earn some service hours, mark your calendar for the 4th annual "Swamp Romp" on May 10! Swamp Romp is a stream cleanup activity held in conjunction with the Upper Arlington Civic Association’s Civic Pride Day. Last year, the Scouts of Buckeye District provided nearly half of the 200 youth and adult volunteers for this project.

Scout Day at Ohio Village - May 18, 2008:
Cub Scouts, Boy Scouts and Venturers are all invited to the Ohio Village on Sunday, May 18 from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. for a fun-filled afternoon especially for Scouts. Cost is $5.00 per person and the entire family is invited to come. The Historical Museum is included in the price. Scouts will have the opportunity to complete rank advancement requirements, earn belt loops, and work on merit badges. To register for this event or for more information, contact Susan Brouillette.

Day Camp 2008 - July 8-11, 2008
Get ready to shout "Hooray for Hollywood" next July when Buckeye District presents . . . Day Camp 2008 starring all the Tiger, Wolf, Bear and Webelos Scouts of Buckeye District!

Franklin County Fair - July 9-19, 2008
Cub Scouts and Boy Scouts have the opportunity to exhibit projects in the Boy Scout Booth of the Franklin County Fair this summer. Cub Scouts may enter projects made to earn achievements at each of the ranks and Boy Scouts may enter projects made to fulfill merit badge requirements. The Franklin County Fair runs from July 12 through July 19. Entry forms indicating categories a boy wishes to enter must be received by the Junior Fair Board by May 30.
