Park National Bank Foundation has generously donated $5000 to the Parker Park Community Center Project; this money has been depositied in the 501(c)(3) "Parker Park Community Center Fund" at Licking County Foundation.

Park Trustees and the publicly-steered Community Center Development Committee have accrued $6,001 in the non-profit fund; with another potential grant in line, all trustees and CCDC members hope to raise $30,000 to begin the project in 2010.

Walk Path Project to Begin...

Ohio Historic Preservation Office accepted the required Phase I Archeological Survey of Parker Park; ODNR has been notified to proceed with the Walk Path Project.

Parker Park Board of Trustees is currently waiting for pre-project contracts from ODNR; once signed and accepted, work can begin on the ODNR-funded project.

Park Trustees hope the Mill Race & Hemlock Trail Walking Trails will be completed by end of July 2009.
