SUICIDE STATISTICS:
1. In the last 45 yrs suicide rates have increased by 60%.
2. Suicide is the third leading cause of death of ages 15-24.
3.More people die from suicide than homicide.
4. Males are 4 times likely to die from suicide than females.
5. However, females are more likely to attempt than males.

Welcome to people that care,     I am very happy that you have chosen to visit my website.

I decided to start this website  when a family member of mine committed suicide. He was like a brother to me. He felt that he was all alone. I decided then that teenage suicide is something that we can and will prevent. For people who are so set on taking that last step what difference will it make if you wait until tomorrow and remember for every person that hurts you there are at least 5 more who care.


 
Poetry:
If poetry is something that helps you vent or you just want to share your work plese e-mail it to me and i will include it on my site no poem will be ignored.
Since no one is submitting any poems I am going to have to do away with this section as soon as I figure out what I want to put here I will update it.		  Comments:
