1 ~ I do not especially think it is necessary to have the "monthly meeting"... Haven't we had enough meetings already? Therefore this chapter will not do anything on a regular set day. Instead we will look around and see what is happening locally and do those things.

2 ~ We do not need to do a lot of gift giving, prizes or even celebrate birthdays. Yes, we will acknowledge birthdays but that is it. The reason for this is that everyone has a different financial status. There are many Red Hatters that are on limited incomes or living paycheck-to-paycheck. I do not want anyone to ever feel obligated to have to do any sort of gifts or prizes...

3 ~ This chapter is not about supporting causes. While many of us have our pet projects, causes and charities that we care about please know that is not what we are about.

4 ~ When we go out everyone pays their own way...
