·         Heinz Ahlers – Cub Scout Open House for new members Wednesday September 16^th, 1-8:30 pm in Scout Room

·         Amanda Greenwall – CB Learn

·         Elder Band – John Jung and Kristie Beasley Jung.

            c. Suggestion/Question Box:

·         New this year – please feel free to offer your thoughts.  This box will also be in the school office at all times if you want to add suggestions.  You can also email to ptg0910@yahoo.com.

            d. Budget: Andrea Teal

·         See attached budget.

·         $27,000 operating budget (approximate)

·         PTG is approached throughout the year to support various school projects.

            e. Fundraisers

·         Major Fundraiser – a few people did not receive these in the mail they are here tonight so pick up a page tonight at the sign-in table.

·         Entertainment Books - $20 through the school, one will come home via envelope to show and sell.  if you do not want to sell please send it back to school

·         Walk-A-Thon – other schools have been making between $8,000 and $20,000 for their school.  We would like to introduce this to St. Teresa this year and request suggestions from parents to help work out the details.  Students raising money for the walk, having the walk during a school day.  

            f. Focus on ways to earn money without asking for extra out of pocket funds

·         Box Tops – new incentive programs, turn in days coincide with Spirit Days.  We made $2500 last year and would like to double that this year.  Highest contributors get incentive prizes student/class/grade prizes.

·         CB Learn – we had about 31 families sign up last year, goal of doubling that number this year.  You only have to register one time, so if you registered last year you do not have to do it again.  See Amanda Greenwell to pick up information on how to sign up for this if you have not already.  Home service or cell service through Cincinnati Bell will generate money for the school.

·         Kroger Cards – we are offering the cards for free.  Re-loadable and St. Teresa gets 4% back of all money loaded onto cards.  First 200 cards requested are free and then they are reloadable for up to $250.00.  Use for grocery or gas purchases.

·         Scripps went home this week to order gift cards.  Another easy way to earn money for St. Teresa.

·         Here tonight at the meeting we have a small Kindergarten table with three chairs.  Silent auction/raffle.  Bids starting at $10.00.  The paper is on the table to sign up and place your bid on the table.

IV.       Teacher introductions: St. Teresa theme of the year: “Open the doors of your heart to Jesus” -             Dismiss to Meet the Teachers.
