Toledo NOW in ACTION!

Toledo NOW, and UT's POW!, protest The Pregnancy Center, one of Toledo's many fake clinics on November 18, 2006.

July 17, 2006, Toledo NOW members joined with the Take Back the Night Collective to protest Toledo Municipal Court Prosecutors for failure to grant and enforce protection orders for domestic violence victims.

Yes, sometimes the protests go on so long, we must bring pillows!

Toledo NOW demonstrating at the Lucas County Courthouse for marriage equality on February 14, 2005. The Toledo Blade wrote of the protest in an article titled "Gay couples head to courthouse seeking equality, 30 protest ban on same-sex marriage"

Toledo NOW, with several area unions and activist organizations, organized a protest of more than 60 concerned citizens to advocate against Wal-mart's discriminatory work practices, health care unaffordibility, pharmacy policy of not stocking Emergency Contraception and allowing pharmacists to refuse to fill medical prescriptions for women, May 7, 2005.

Toledo NOW, in partnership with Planned Parenthood Affiliates of Ohio and Main Street Democrats, marched for equal prescription coverage in Toledo's First Annual Women's History Month Parade on March 19, 2005.

Take Back the Night! A fantastic event that Toledo NOW is honored to support on an annual basis. Check back for further information on the 2007 Take Back the Night!
