What We Do
The PVG sponsers at least one annual sales fund raiser like a cookie dough sale. As well as several smaller fund rasiers like T-shirt sales, the annual Santa Breakfast and an auction at Family Fun Night.

Money from these fundraisers are used for multiple projects through out the school year. The PVG pays for transportation for one field trip for each grade. Teachers are given money for special events. We help to pay for the teacher's copier. We periodically purchase equipment like TV/DVD players for the classrooms or balls for the playground. A couple years ago, the group built the shelter house on the hill above the playground.

We also sponser several annual events for our students, families and staff. Fun family events like Santa Breakfast, Movie Night and Family Fun night are well attended. We organize or help to staff Back to School Night, Santa Shop, Kindergarten Tea, and Kindergarten Graduation. We plan events for the teachers and staff during Teacher's Appreciation week.

These are only a few of our projects. There are opportunities for all parents and family members to be involved. Many projects take only a little time, and many occur outside of 9-5 work hours. Some work can be done at home on your own time. If you can give one hour or one hundred, we'd love to have you involved! Come to a meeting or contact a PVG member for more information!
