Sewjourn Exit 255 camp quilt. This is a Jelly Beans Scrappy Quilt. If you plan on making this quilt, you need seven 1/2 yard cuts.
Sewjourn – Exit 255 Camp will be August 13-16 2009.
Sherron Hearod and Janice Davis are camp directors.
Camp cost is $122 due by July 9th. There will be a lot of fun activities, quilt blocks, games, and good fellowship.

Overnight Bag with Pockets will be taught at camp. Material needed is:
1 yard pre-quilted fabric
Grosgrain ribbon for handle
Cut 1 strip 12-1/2" by 42" for the outside sleeve
Cut 1 strip 16-1/2" by 21-1/2" for inside sleeve
Cut 1 circle 7-1/2"
If you want a larger bag, you will need more fabric, this material requirement is for a bottom circle of 7-1/2".

Meetings are held the 2nd Thursday of each month. Refreshments and fellowship is at 6:00pm. with the general business meeting beginning at 6:30pm. Workdays are held Wednesday of each week.
Annual membership dues are $15.
The guild has many on-going activities such as block of the month, meeting programs, mystery quilts, service projects for our community, and an annual quilt show

July 25. The Mattie Terry Public Library, 311 North Johnson, Valliant, Oklahoma, proudly presents the God Bless America Patriotic Quilt Exhibit during the Valliant Watermelon Festival. At 1:00 p.m. Judy Howard will present her “Under the Cover with Granny” Quilt Trunk Show Program and sign books.
September 5, Piecemakers Quilters Guild, “Quilts by the Lake 2009”, 9:00am – 5:00pm, Northfork Baptist Church, Hwy 69 & Texanna Road, Eufaula, OK, cost $3.
