Our librarians have compiled a listing of the books we have in our library. The listing is compiled with title, category, author, and missing. A big thankyou to Linda and June for all their hard work. LIBRARY LISTING.

In 2010, we are going to try something different versus the monthly Block of the Months. We will have packages of pre-cut fabric pieces for a block that you will be able to purchase at the guild meeting for $1 per package. The following month, you will return the finished block and you will be entered in a drawing for all the returned blocks. The blocks will then be yours to keep and you may finish into a quilt top any way you want and they are yours to keep. You do not need to give back to the guild the finished top. The guild will help offset the purchase of the fabric and the $1 cost will also go towards the purchase of the next block packages. If you chose to buy more than one package, you will have as many chances in the drawings as you have returned blocks. Jackie Holkum has agreed to make up the block packages.

For more interactive chatting, posting of questions or whatever you want to tell the members, or share photos, I have started a yahoo group for our guild. You need to get a free yahoo account and then go to: http://groups.yahoo.com/group/mcalesterkqg and sign up to become a member. Once I get your request, I will accept it and then you can start sharing photos, questions, or whatever you want. This group will be up to the members (you) to post what you want the other members to see. I will just be the one to accept your membership.
