Kamp Kuti Uppi...
The KKU retreat is usually around the first week in March. The location is Pickens Camp Ground at Eufaula State Park, Fountainhead. The main facility has limited space for 30 kampers, of which two are vendors! This is rustic kamping, we do our own cooking, snacks and goodies. The cabins have bunks, single beds and a heater. The showers and restroom facilities are outside in a central location between the cabins.

The cost and projects may vary from year to year, however, the fun, comradre, sewing, vendors and food are always present!!

Camp Rhema...
This retreat is in August and is also great fun! The camp staff prepares our meals and we recieve a welcome gift. Sewing tables, chairs, cutting and ironing stations, bunk beds and an in ground swimming pool are emjoyed at this camp. Campers do need to bring their sewing projects and supplies! Each year there is a camp project that is always fun for those interested. Lots of sewing at this camp!

Projects...

Our main mission is to promote the art of quilting and we do this by teaching the craft. Anyone, not only members, can come to a monthly meeting to check us out and join our guild. We also assist new quilters on Wednesdays (same location as meeting) with getting started or ongoing projects.
But there is more!! Our Guild is always working in some way to help our community.

Some of our projects this year were making pillowcases for needy children in our community, Cancer Caps, Dresses to Africa, and donations to Relay for Life.
