Vo-Ag At our December, 2011 meeting, the members approved the dissolution of the Oklahoma Farming Heritage Assoc. During discussions concerning the disposal of our assets it was agreed to spend $1,500 of our funds to buy tools for the Shawnee Vo-Ag Department. This was to help them after their shop lost all of their tools and equipment to thieves last year. The following are pictures of the shopping trip to Sears, with the Vo-Ag instructor and then the delivery to to school shop.

The Oklahoma Farming Heritage Association is prepared to offer an opportunity to Vocational Agriculture departments and students, by sharing the knowledge of our membership and providing an antique tractor as a classroom restoration project. This would benefit the student, the Vocational Agriculture department and our organization. Through this Program the Oklahoma Farming Heritage Association contributes tractors to High-School Vocational Agriculture Departments so their classes may restore the tractors. Once restoration is complete the School department sells the restored tractor at auction with the proceeds going to the High-School Vocational Agriculture Department. The Oklahoma Farming Heritage Association further assists the High-School Vocational Agriculture Department by securing needed parts and supplies along with providing technical advice on the project.
