Welcome to OKC Metro Freecycle Network
Do you have stuff sitting in your attic, garage, or spare bedroom that you no longer need. Help find a new home by offering it to our OKC Metro Freecycle Network group. Help cut down on waste at landfills by participating in our local "freecyle" organization. Freecycling is becoming a new popular trend. Not only does it help cut down on waste at landfills, but it helps others who have needs, and allows participants to receive free stuff as well.
***PLEASE NOTE: All messages by new members will be activated by the group leader in order to eliminate spam. Because of this, you won't have to worry about receiving numberous spam messages in your email box. Any member who abuses our group will be banned.
Group members should begin the subject line of every message they send with one of four tags: OFFER, TAKEN, WANTED, or RECEIVED. Example: to initialize a posting use the subject line accordingly, "Wanted: Sofa", and to finalize, "Taken: Sofa" Or, for an offer post accordingly, "OFFER: Old stereo, Bethany area"
Everything, offered or wanted, must be completely, absolutely FREE. Keep it all legal, tangible, and appropriate for all ages. That means: No services, no politics, no spam, no trades/barter/money - period. Reply to OFFERs by emailing the offerer privately, not by posting to the whole group. Never OFFER using "it's out on the curb, first one here gets it". Work directly with a single individual to arrange pickup. Have a digital picture of your OFFER? You can post it in the "Photos" section.
