REQUIREMENTS TO JOIN AS A TIGER CUB:
The Cub Scouting adventure begins with Tiger Cubs - a program of exciting indoor and outdoor activities just right for a boy who is IN FIRST GRADE AND/OR 7 YEARS OLD. A parent or adult partner works with and MUST ACCOMPANY HIM AT ALL TIMES as his support and guide, but you don't do things for him. He will learn by doing things himself. And as he learns and grows, your relationship with him will grow, too.
There are five Tiger Cub achievement areas. The Tiger Cub, working with his adult partner, completes 15 requirements within these areas to earn the Tiger Cub badge. These requirements consist of an exciting series of indoor and outdoor activities just right for a boy in the first grade.
In addition to earning the Tiger Cub rank your son will have the opportunity to go camping, attend day camp, participate in shooting sports (BB guns and Archery), go fishing, and even race a wooden car.
