Welcome to our little piece of web space!

Cub Scout Pack 196 is a part of the Last Frontier Council, Will Rogers District. We meet in the Lake Park Elementary School Cafeteria on Monday nights.

What Is Cub Scouting?

The mission of the Boy Scouts of America is to prepare young people to make ethical and moral choices over their lifetimes by instilling in them the values of the Scout Promise and Law.

If you have any friends who would like to come and see what Cub Scouting is all about, invite them to any meeting or event that you would like!

Monthly Theme

Each month the cubs learn about a specific Theme! Each theme is designed to keep the boys interested and complete the requirements for each rank while teaching them about things they may have never had the experience to learn about outside of Cub Scouts

This Months Theme is: Litter to Glitter

  • This month Cub Scouts will turn recycled items into treasures and learn about conservation at the same time. Build artistic masterpieces of your own design using items that would normally go in the trash or recycling bin. It’s amazing what some recycled bottles and paper can do when combined with glue, glitter, and a little imagination. Have a gallery opening at your pack meeting and display all your art. Boys can work toward completion of the Art belt loop and pin.
