Project Linus is a volunteer non-profit organization. Our mission is to provide love, a sense of security, warmth and comfort to children who are seriously ill, traumatized, or otherwise in need through the gifts of new, homemade blankets and afghans, lovingly created by volunteer "blanketeers."

We also provide a rewarding and fun service opportunity for interested individuals and groups in local communities, for the benefit of children.

We have some amazing things going on right now.

Mark the following dates on your calendar:

February 13, 2010 is the deadline to have blankets for Haiti sent to me or dropped off at one of our drop locations. We committed to send no less than 350 blankets to these hurting children. If we can, we will send more.

On February 20, 2010 we will host our Annual Make A Blanket Day. This event will be held at 3 locations.

3. Moore Chamber of Commerce: 305 West Main Street, Moore OK, 73160; 405.495.4699 –Please contact The Stitching Post for directions, they reserved the building.

• At all locations we will meet from 10am-4pm.
• We are a non-profit group and we have limited supplies. Please bring items that you will need for the day to complete your project(s). You are encourage to bring 1 yard of fleece fabric, per person, to make a no-sew fleece blanket
• Lunch will be served at all locations. You are welcome to bring snacks/dessert/drinks OR a donation to Project Linus.
