Healthy Pets, Happy Families, and No More Animals Without Homes
Ángeles Guardianes de Animales is an organization that the people and the animals of Tepic need. Getting the number of animals off the street and into homes, and preventing the population of animals from growing are the most important things. We are very dedicated, hard working, and are prepared to make these changes. Please look at our Adoptions page. These animals have a lot of love to give and could make your family complete!!
La meta de Ángeles Guardianes de Animales es a ofrecer esterilización a todos los animales (si tienen dueños o no), gracias a colaboración con la veterinario Grethel Fonseca Araca. También, ofrecer un lugar seguro para los animales de la calle hasta que puedan ser adoptados por una familia. Si la gente tiene animales que no pueden cuidar o si son mal tratados, podemos cuidarlos y buscar casas por ellos. Todos los animales estarán vacunados y eterizados antes de serán adoptados. This is where your donation goes! To help ALL animals; including those without a chance! This is Shane. We rescued her from the street, where she was literally starving to death. She could barely walk because she was so weak, but when she did walk, she leaned to the left. The vet said she was probably hit by a car in the past and had celebral damage. She got more strength but finally her back legs went out and she couldn't walk anymore. We put her down by euthanization last week. She's in a much better place and we know that she was loved (and fed) before she went to that place!
Definitivamente vamos ocupar todo la ayuda y apoyo de amantes de animales del todo el mundo. Los veterinarios que están trabajando con nosotros, no están pagada para hacer las esterilizaciones. Every Sunday, we have open adoptions. We're going to work with the local pound and take animals that they are going to put to death by electrocution, spay/neuter them, and find forever loving families for them. We will check in with the families to see how the new additions are adjusting and to be CERTAIN they are being cared for. Also, if people are looking for a certain size, color, breed, etc. we will take down their information and look for these animals on the street and also at the pound.
Right now, our biggest obstacle is to find land (or for us to find a house with a HUGE yard) so we have space to keep animals before adopting them out. The pound only keeps animals one week before they put them down; by electrocution. Absolutely inhumane and horrible.
Cada domingo, tenemos adopciones abiertas. Vamos trabajar con la Perrera y tomar animales que ellos van a sacrificar. Vamos esterilizar ellos y encontrar casas con mucho amor por ellos. Nosotros nos quedaremos en contacto con las nuevas familias y vistamos los animales en las nuevas casas para ver que estén bien. Si la gente está buscando animales con específica características, podemos buscarles también. La problema más grande que tenemos ahorita es buscando terreno en que podemos rescatar animales del acopio; los animales que llegan allá tienen una semana y si no están adoptados, se sacrifican con electrocución. Que feo y inhumano.
Another HUGE part of our organization will be education. The way to change the future treatment of animals is to educate this generation. We will teach the proper treatment of animals, the importance of vaccines and also sterilization, and also the proper care for pets. Starting at fairs and local events and eventually having programs that go into the local schools. Ángeles Guardianes de Animales will be completely run by donations, volunteers, and hopefully a little support from the government of the State of Nayarit. Every few months we will have fundraising events where we will educate the community and also get the word out about who we are and what we do.
Ofreceremos programas informacionales a la comunidad. La manera de cambiar el cómo tratar y convivir con los animales es educar a la nueva generación de jóvenes. Ensenar el trato correcto de los animales, la importancia de las vacunas y esterilización, y el cuidado bien de las mascotas.
Ángeles Guardianes de Animales funcionara completamente de donaciones, voluntarios, y ojala apoyo del gobierno Estado de Nayarit. Cada unos meses, tendremos un evento de educación de animales y información acerca de nuestra organización que es lo que hacemos.
A dog sits waiting in the cold autumn sun to faithful to leave, too scared to run. He’s been there for days nothing to do but sit by the road and wait for you. He can’t understand why you left that day. He thought you where stopping to go and play with him. He’s sure you’ll come back that’s why he stays how long can he suffer, for how many days? His legs have grown weak, his throat perched and dry he’s sick now with hunger. He sit’s with a sigh. He lays his head and closes his eyes. I wish you could see how a waiting dog dies.
Un perro se sienta esperando en el frío otoño fiel a salir, el miedo a correr lo invade. Él ha estado ahí durante días, sentado y esperándolo a que usted. Él no puede entender por qué te fuiste ese día. Pensaba que parar en aquel lugar seria grandioso y jugar con él. Él está seguro de que regresaras esa es la razón por la que se queda todo el tiempo a esperar el sufre y piensa, por cuántos días seguirá así? Sus piernas se han vuelto débiles, su garganta seca y el posado firme esperando se le mira enfermo ahora con el hambre en sus ojos. Él se sienta con un suspiro. Descansa su cabeza y cierra los ojos.
