BeTheOne.jpgInternational Association of Administrative Professionals

As Membership Chair, I'd like to welcome you to our website!

Be The One is the IAAP's theme this year. How can we as professionals, parents, neighbors, colleagues and friends "Be The One"?

How do we relate this to our very busy and full lives? It starts by asking co-workers and colleagues to come to a meeting to discover all the benefits that IAAP has to offer.

Will you be the one to take responsibility to help your chapter grow, not only in membership but to fulfill it's goals? A chapter cannot be successful unless members decide to be the one to participate, contribute and join.

Be empowered and take charge! Be the one to make the changes you need to succeed!

Jo Ann Yonemura, Membership Chair

Willamette Chapter Meetings

Willamette Chapter IAAP meets in Albany the second Thursday of each month. Programs of interest for the busy office professional are conducted and a brief meeting follows to conduct business of the chapter. Program topics are selected to provide educational opportunities, professional development, self-improvement, community involvement, or information about issues of special interest to the professional as an individual. Members are encouraged to become active in one of the committees, giving them an opportunity to get better acquainted, gain professional and leadership skills, and assist the organization in meeting its goals. Guests and students are always welcome! Contact President Tari Hayes at tari.hayes@cityofalbany.net or Membership Chair Jo Ann Yonemura at jyonemur@samhealth.org for more information on membership!

Professional Membership Dues

Membership dues are $128 annually. If you are interested, please contact Membership Chair Jo Ann Yonemura at jyonemur@samhealth.org or President Tari Hayes at tari.hayes@cityofalbany.net for more information and a membership application.

Some companies may pay for professional membership in organizations; check with your employer to see if this option is available for you. Dues may also be tax-deductible, check with your tax advisor.

 Student Membership Dues

Student membership dues vary. Students may renew at this level for a maximum of 4 years. Contact Membership Chair Jo Ann Yonemura at jyonemur@samhealth.org or President Tari Hayes at tari.hayes@cityofalbany.net for more information and a membership application.

What is an IAAP meeting like?
We will greet you at the door and ask you to fill out a nametag. Members typically bring a brown bag lunch and network among each other to find out what challenges face us in the workplace. If a program is scheduled, it would be conducted at noon. A brief meeting to conduct business is held right after the program.

Guests are always welcome! Better still . . .Become a Professional, Student, or Associate Member TODAY!
