2012 Club Report
REPORTING PERIOD - February 2011 - February 2012
CLUB NAME - Josephine County Republican women
CLUB MEMBERSHIP - 13 paid members

LEADERSHIP

Fair Booth Co-Chairs - Sylvia McLoughlin & Betty Graham

REGULAR MEETINGS of the Club shall be held on the fourth (4th) Thursday of each month, except for the June, July and August break, unless otherwise ordered by the Executive Committee. A special meeting may be called for the months of June, July and August if needed to conduct business pertaining to the fair booth and/or other Club business. The annual meeting of November-December will be combined for a meeting on the second (2nd) Thursday of December.

Nov/Dec 8, 2011 Wayne Krieger - District 1 Representative - Redistricting
January 26, 2012 Art Harvey - Josephine County Clerk
February 23, 2012 - Sheriff Gil Gilbertson - State of the sheriff's Department


GOALS FOR JOSEPHINE COUNTY REPUBLICAN WOMEN MAY INCLUDE: Rebuilding Josephine County Republican Women's membership by providing educational speakers and subjects of interest Advertise upcoming speakers and meetings through e-mails, postcards, web site, print media, radio, and television announcements
Provide a forum for local, state, or national Republican candidates to express their views and philosophies. Provide an opportunity for our Republican members to ask questions and educate themselves locate, state, and national issues.
Provided "American constitutions" to the seniors at all four local high schools Have an active Republican Women's booth at the Josephine County Fair where we distribute educational literature and register voters, etc.
Supported the local food bank through periodic collections of food and money.
