Please write four short essays (maximum 150 words each) to help the selection committee understand your "profile." The quality of your response is important to the committee to evaluate your application, so please be aware of format, spelling, grammar, etc.
1. Explain your career aspirations and your educational plan to meet these goals.
2. Describe a challenge or obstacle you faced in the last ten years. What did you
learn about yourself from this experience?
3. Describe a personal accomplishment and the strengths and skills you used to achieve
that accomplishment.
4. What do you think was the value of a rural community high school education?

2 from High School intructors
2 personal (not a relative)
The Reedsport Education Enrichment Foundation will be awarding one scholarship to one Reedsport High School student graduating spring of 2012, who can meet the criteria above.
All applications must be completed and received by REEF by Thursday, May 31, 2012. Please send the application through the mail and not electronically. The REEF committee will decide on the top 3 applications and will contact those individuals for phone interviews.
