| Who We Are
At present, the Mt Hood Chapter of Women In Aviation is one of the newest chapters in WAI and the only one in Oregon. We encourage anyone with an interest in aviation to join us. We hope that our membership will reflect all facets of aviation througout the State of Oregon and Southern Washington. This includes student pilots and flight instructors as well as those involved with general aviation, corporate aviation, regional airlines, major airlines and the military. We welcome anyone who is interested in aviation to participate. Remember, you don't need to be a pilot join Women in Aviation! Our goal is to provide networking, programs that will include local speakers, tours of aviation facilities, community outreach efforts that encourage young people to pursue aviation careers, and eventually regional scholarship opportunities. A special thanks goes out to Erin Bosnjak who recognized the need and took the initiative to create a local WAI Chapter in Oregon!
