MOPS was founded on the belief in God's love for mothers of preschoolers a love that fully affirms the identity and value of each of these mothers. This is our foundation, and it is based on the following concepts:
NURTURING THE NURTURER:
Moms have need. Just because they take care of others doesn't mean they don't need some gentle care too. They need understanding, encouragement, time out and help. The need to know that mothering matters and mothers matter.
DEVELOPING THE LEADERS:
Because MOPS groups are run by mothers of preschoolers for mothers of preschoolers, MOPS gives moms leadership training, and opportunity to grow and gain confidence in their abilities.
ONE-ANOTHERING:
Moms not only need a sense of belonging, they also need support from fellow moms going through the same issues.
MOPS provides a haven for soothing frazzled nerves and forming lifelong friendships.
MOPS provides a quality children's program where little ones are cared for and loved.
MOPS teaches, by experienced mothers and other professionals, practical ways to fulfill the varied roles of women, wife and mother

If you're like most moms you found that when you became a mother your heart swelled with a love for your child much greater than you could have ever imagined. As time passes, that love continues to grow and you know you are changed forever.
YOU'RE NOT ALONE IN THE UNSPEAKABLE JOY YOU FEEL ABOUT BEING A MOTHER.
And your not alone in your frustrations at not always handling motherhood the way you'd like. MOPS stands for Mothers of Preschoolers, a program designed to nurture mothers with children from infancy through kindergarten. MOPS groups meet throughout the United States, Canada, and 19 other countries. The women are of many ages and backgrounds, but share the same desire - to be the best mothers they can be.
AT MOPS, we provide a friendly and fun place for mothers to relax, encourage and learn from one another about how to handle this rewarding, but sometimes tough time in our lives
AT A TYPICAL MOPS MEETING: Moms can enjoy a delicious brunch, adult conversation, fabulous speakers and fun crafts. Not to mention gab time with the girls! It's a great place to re-energize and connect with other moms.
MOPPETS: While moms are enjoying themselves, the little ones are being cared for in our parallel program called MOPPETS. MOPPETS is not just two and a half hours of babysitting. Children are divided into age appropriate groups and enjoy stories, games, crafts, snacks, Bible stories and other activities. This program is provided for children birth to six years old.
WHERE WE MEET
We meet at Westside Church in the Family room every 1st and 3rd Thursday of the month.
