![]() was founded in 1948. The meetings are the fourth Tuesday of each month, September-June at a location to be determined. Dinner is at 6 p.m. followed by an educational program. It is our hope that administrative professionals in the Beaver Valley and surrounding areas will join us at our meetings. What is IAAP®? The International Association for Administrative Professionals (IAAP®) is a not-for-profit professional association with more than 700 chapters and 40,000 members and affiliates worldwide representing 66 countries. The association works in partnership with employers to promote excellence. Its members include administrative assistants, executive secretaries, office coordinators, information specialists, and related administrative professionals. Many corporations, educational institutions, students, and international affiliate organizations also belong to IAAP®. Mission: The IAAP® mission is to be the acknowledged, recognized leader of administrative professionals and to enhance their individual and collective value, image, competence, and influence.
Purpose: The IAAP® purpose is to provide information, education, and training and to set the standards of excellence recognized by the business community on a global perspective.
Objectives: The IAAP® objectives are to elevate the standards of all administrative professions and to promote their working relationships with management through continuing education, authorized programs, and publications.
Vision: The IAAP® vision is to inspire and equip all administrative professionals to attain excellence. Upcoming Chapter Events November 27, 2008 William Vicary, a prominent Philadelphia sea captain, began building his family home in 1826 overlooking the Ohio River in Freedom, PA. The mansion boasts twenty rooms, a great oak entrance door, a grand hallway and staircase. Visitors may still see many of the original architectural features and be able to experience the evolution of the building over the last 180 years. This property was placed on the National Register of Historical Places in 1974 and is the home of the Beaver County Historical Research and Landmarks Foundation. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
