WHO ARE WE?                       The Carsonville Vol. Fire Co. #1 was organized July 15th,1974 near Carsonville, Pennsylvania. The Company was established primarily for Jefferson Township, which covers 24 square miles. Most of the Township is State Game lands and State Forest land, or Harrisburg Water Company lands.The current population is approximately 350 residents, with 10 miles of Township roads and 9 miles of State roadways.We also cover the Eastern half of Wayne Township as first due which consists of 14 square miles and 600 residents.Our Company also provides mutual aid to 7 additional municipalities that cover 155 square miles and a population of 12,590 residents. We also provide mutual/automatic aid to Pennsylvania’s Capital City (Harrisburg) water supply/watershed.

FREE Smoke Detectors  Operation Save a Life- Free Smoke Detectors


12/2/09- The Carsonville Fire Company has teamed up with ABC27 and Kidde to offer those in need for a smoke detector the chance to get one for FREE at the Fire Station. Just by having working smoke detectors your chances of escape during a fire increase dramatically. Please contact any Fire Company member or call the Station at 717-362-9299 for your smoke detector.

 
Volunteers Wanted
We Are Looking for Men and Women Interested in Joining the Fire Department. Training is held the first and last Monday of the month beginning at 7pm. Meetings are held the second monday of the month beginning at 7pm.Stop in and join us!
 
 


Addition to Station 19
Construction was begun on an addition to our meeting room and offices. Our meeting room will be approximately double the current size as well as having more office space as our station is the Jefferson Township EOC during natural/manmade disasters. CONSTRUCTION IS ALMOST DONE! PICTURES COMING SOON.
