All team members must complete Level 1- Basic Responder training as soon as possible following enrollment as a volunteer. Level 1 includes:
PASART Orientation
Incident Command, FEMA IS-100
National Incident Management System (NIMS), FEMA IS-700
Hazmat Awareness, FEMA IS-5.A
Level 2 Training is more specialized and is also offered. Level 2 training includes:
Animals in Disaster - Module A Awareness and Preparedness (IS-10)
Animals in Disaster – Module B Community Planning (IS-11)
Pet First Aid
Human First Aid
WMD Awareness
Large Animal Rescue (LART)
Animal Sheltering
Livestock in Disasters (IS-111)
