November Community Service: Scouting for Food

We collected over 800lbs of food!!! The food was donated to the New Britain Baptist Church - Food Larder and the the Lenape Valley Presbyterian Food Pantry. Fantastic work this was 100 lbs more than last year!!!

Thanks for your help!!!

Fall Bonfire

Thanks to all for a great fall bonfire!!! It was the best. We made a couple of bucks with the punkin chunckin, and had a nice flag retirement ceremony.

Model Rocket-Ree
We literally had a BLAST!!!! Very nice job on the Rockets scouts. The adults from Mission Control were proud of all the successful launches and even the not so successful one.

Memorial Day Parade
Well done. You scouts carried our banner and flags with respect and honor. Next year we are going full out with the candy.

May Picnic
Congratulations on all your hard work scouts. You earned your rank badges and made the pack leadership and your parents proud.

Weekend Camping
The cubs survived the 2 mile walk and the almost freezing temparatures. We had a blast hiking, tending the fire, cooking hotdogs and marshmellows, and playing games. We also had a somber ceremony to retire 2 US flags. Thanks to Dave Hollender for a great weekend of food and activities.

April Pack Meeting
AARK brought in 3 raptors; 2 different types of owls, and a broad winged hawk. Seeing these birds close up was really cool.

Yukon Gold Rush
The cubs visited 10 gold rush towns and mined for gold, tied some knots, ran some obstacle courses and solved a puzzle. They earned 42 gold nuggets.

The Amazing Orienteering Race!
The scouts took a compass and a clue and made it around the course in just over an hour. We also had a great fire going to keep us warm.

Blue and Gold!
Congratulations to our new Boy Scouts. Our Webelos II are all grown-up. They have worked very hard to earn their Arrow of Light.

Borough Clean-up
A big Thank You to the brave 8, who braved the freezing weather. We cleaned up 3 parking lots in less than an hour. We filled up 4 bags with lots of trash. Thanks to the Aunins' for supplying the Hot Choco. It really hit the spot.

Rock Climbing Overnighter

The Rock Climbing Overnighter was a blast. We climbed until Midnight, learned about a Mt Everest Expedition and Gerald Ford. Thanks to Marcia Tyrrell and Adam Rouselle for their presentations. Also a big thanks to our Eagle Scout Adam, who encouraged, taught and impressed the cubs. And let us not forget the food, another big thank you to Donna Harrison for providing the food, and to all who helped set and clean up.

Raingutter Regatta

All the boats looked fantasitic! We had a lot of close races and the scouts loved this event.

November Community Service: Scouting for Food

We collected over 700lbs of food!!! The food was donated to the New Britain Baptist Church - Food Larder and the the Lenape Valley Presbyterian Food Pantry. Fantastic work!!! The churches were very appreciative, as their pantries were running low,and the extra donations were needed for the holidays.

Thanks for your help!!!

Fall Bonfire

Thanks to all for a great fall bonfire!!! It was the best. Pics and video from the event are on the Webelos I page.
