Important Information ATTENTION ALL DAUPHIN COUNTY EMS, FIRE, POLICE, EMA, AND LOCAL OFFICIALS South Central Pennsylvania Regional Mass Casualty/Mass Fatality Incident (MC/MFI) Plan Briefing As many of you already know, A Regional MC/MFI plan has been created and adopted by the Emergency Medical Services (EMS) in the eight-County South Central Region. Dauphin County EMS (DCEMS) adopted this plan at the November DCEMS meeting. Now that the plan has been adopted in Dauphin County by DCEMS, the Emergency Health Services Federation (EHSF) in conjunction with the South Central Task Force (SCTF) requested that emergency services in Dauphin County be familiarized with the operation of the Plan. The EHSF has contracted with Cocciardi and Associates to faciliate bringing the different emergency service disciplines together in order to raise our awareness of this Plan. A joint briefing session has been arranged for Tuesday, January 8th, 2008 started at 18:30 hours at the Dauphin County Conservation and Natural Resource Center, 1451 Peters Mountain Road, Dauphin, Pa 17018. We ark asking that representatives from all Dauphin County Emergency Services, including, Fire, Police, EMS, Cornor Staff, Hospital Emergency Management Coordinators, County and Municipal EMA's, and 911 staff attend this informative briefing. The session will last approximately one and a half hours, detailing the contents of the Plan. There will be group tabletop exercies scheduled for later in 2008, to follow this briefing. The dates and times for these exceries will be forthcoming. If anyone has a suggestion for a time or location for the tabletop exercies please contact Brad DeLancey at (717)-443-2286; all input is welcomed. We ask that each or you mark your calendar and plan on attending this important briefing. If you have any questions, or if you are unable to attend, please let Brad DeLancey know as soon as possible. We look foward to working with each of the emergency service disciplines in making this Regional effort a success. Thank you all for your time and participation.
