Dauphin County Emergency Management Services Council will be holding the monthly meeting on Tuesday, May 12th, 2009 at 1830 hours at Williamstown EMS, 204 South West Street, Williamstown, Pa 17098 We are requesting that each of the County E.M.S. services be represented at the meeting by their E.M.S. Manager and/or Chief of Operations. If you are unable to attend please send an alternate.
The Finance Committee is still looking into alternatives to having the Council monies in a no-interest checking account.
The 2009 Dauphin County EMS Training Calendar was presented. If you have any addition or corrections please send those to Howdt McGinnis or Brad DeLancey.
The DCEMS Council Web site is up and running. Please visit the site and foward your thoughts and improvment suggestions to Jesse Shutt or Brad DeLancey. Special thanks to Jesse Shutt for his outstanding efforts and talent getting the website up and running. www.orgiste.com/pa/dcemsc/
The Council will be pursuing a Group Purchasing Initiative for Oxygen. This will hopefully reduce the cost of monies spent by services individually. Please contact Brad if this is something your service would like to participate in. We need the amount of O2 your service uses in a year, the type of O2 cylinder used and the vendor that you would like us to approach/or not approach.
