EVERYTHING YOU EVER WANTED TO KNOW ABOUT THE DAUPHIN COUNTY VOLUNTEER FIREMEN'S ASSOCIATION
Purposes of the Organization
Provided in-service education for active emergency service personnel.
Promote interatcion between emergency service personnel from throughout Dauphin County
Who May Join This Organization
Any member of any emergency service from Dauphin County, or any emergency service contiguous to Dauphin County.
Membership Fee
$5.00 per year.
$4.00 per year if yearly dues are paid through the member's fire company, paying as a group.
All company dues MUST BE PAID BY APRIL 1ST to recieve the discounted price. After April 1st, ALL DUES are $5.00.
Association Meetings
3 Membership ("booster") meetings are held at various firehouses throughout Dauphin County on the second Friday of September, December, and April.
A County Convention of firefighters each June, on the first Friday after the first Saturday is held as a hosting county fire company location. The following Saturday, a firefighter's parade is held in that community.
Benefits of Membership
3 Yearly membership booster meeting, each followed with refreshments.
Opportunity to visit fire companies from throughout the county during booster meetings.
Seminars held on firefighting and related acrivities.
Convention yearbook available at the yearly convention.
$100.00 death benefit
