Are you interested in a wilderness adventure trip? Check out the trips run by the Appalachian Mountain Club at outdoors.org/teenwilderness. The trips are run throughout the northeast, but mainly in Maine and New Hampshire each summer.

Is orienteering your thing? Check out the Delaware Valley Orienteering Association at www.dvoa.org. You'll find a schedule of events and workshops in our area. Check our calendar for the event closest to us! And don't forget to tell them you are a Girl Scout - you'll get a discount on the fees!

2 words: Hershey. Park. Interested? Hershey Park campground runs a Girl Scout camporee every June, and they offer camping/park packages May - September. Find out more at HersheyPark.com (click on Groups, then Scouts).

Silver Lake Nature Center would like to help you earn the Water Ambassador badge! They also offer yoga and kayaking classes! Contact PattiAnn Lynn at palynn@co.bucks.pa.us or 215-785-1177 ext. 12 to set up a workshop or class for your troop! *There is a minimum number of participants for the badge workshop, so contact other troops if you need more girls in order to schedule one.
