French Creek Archaeological Society offers meetings, presentations and archaeological investigations.
Meetings are held on the 2nd Thursday of the month from 7-9 p.m.
Free and open to the public.
The first meeting of 2017 is at 7 p.m. on March 9 at the Fort LeBoeuf Museum in Waterford. Dr. Richard M. Gramly will be guest speaker and have more information on the Bowser Road mastodon site and correlation with other known mastodon kill sites where paleo man butchered their kills. You may start arriving by 6:30 p.m. as seating is limited.
