RUSSIAN LANGUAGE RESOURCES:

Language Classes for Children:

Philadelphia: The Methodist Russian Mission Church offers a Saturday morning Children and Youth program which includes bible lessons, crafts and language and culture. The program is held on the first and third Saturdays of the month, from 9:00 to 11:00. Everything is done in Russian with the children. It is a "new church" in the Russian speaking community of North East Philadelphia. They are located located at 9707 Bustleton Avenue. Please contact Rev. Lorelei M. Bach at Revsback@juno.com.

Language Courses for Adults:

Montgomery County Community College in Blue Bell offers Russian for Beginners. Taught by Nadezhda Timoshina. For more information and to register online at https://webadvisor.mc3.edu or call 215-641-6397.

Russian for Adoptive ParentsWaiting for that referral and want something worth while to do. How about learning some simple phrases to help ease the transistion for your new child. Russian for  Adoptive Parents contains over 180 phrases that you will want to learn. From simple questions about needs like "Are you hungry?" to sharing feelings like "I love you" to identifying yourself, "We are your Mommy and Daddy," This CD/tape has it all. Language Classes for Adults: Philadelphia: Adults can enjoy a Lithuanian conversation class offered periodically at the Lithuanian Music Hall, 2715 E.Allegheny Ave. Phila, Pa. 19134.
