Different Strokes, the central Iowa support group for young (under 60) survivors of stroke or traumatic brain injury, meets the third Thursday of each month (no meetings in Nov. or Dec.) from 6:30-8:00 PM at 1111 9th Street in Des Moines.

The Community Stroke Support group meets the 2nd Thursday of each month from 10-11:30 am at the Senior Friendship Center.
