IAAP is a not for profit professional association for office professionals with nearly 600 chapters and 28,000 members and affiliates worldwide. For over 70 years, IAAP has provided up-to- date research on office trends, cutting edge publications, outstanding seminars and conferences, and top notch resources to help administrative professionals enhance their skills and become more effective contributors to their employers.

The prime objective of White Rose Chapter is to promote professionalism and upgrade the standards of all administrative professionals. Through membership you will have an opportunity for self-improvement, continued education, association with others in your chosen profession, and a chance to network with them in raising the standards of our profession.

CAP/CAP-OM CERTIFICATION

The Certified Administrative Professional rating is the achievement of the internationally recognized standard of proficiency as an administrative professional.

The rating is obtained by completing and verifying education and employment experience requirements, and passing a one-part, one-day examination on the following areas: communication, organization and planning, information distribution, records management, physical and information resources, document production, financial functions and human resources. IAAP now offers a specialty in Organizational Management, the CAP-OM. This specialty area focuses on organizational planning, advanced communication, advanced administration and team skills.
