The Wyoming Valley Chapter of IAAP was chartered in 1975, and today there are members from three counties including Luzerne, Lackawanna, and Susquehanna. Members from Forest City to Shickshinny meet the third Wednesday of every month from August to June in the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton area. We network, enjoy dinner, conduct chapter business, and provide continuing education programs for the administrative professional.

The International Association of Administrative Professionals (IAAP) is the world’s largest association for administrative support staff, with 600 chapters and 40,000 members and affiliates worldwide. For more than 60 years, IAAP has provided up-to-date research on office trends, cutting-edge publications, outstanding seminars and conferences, and top-notch resources to help administrative professionals enhance their skills and become more effective contributors to their employers.

Through membership in IAAP, you will receive professional publications and have an opportunity for self-improvement, educational activities, networking, leadership development, visibility, and preparation for the Certified Professional Secretary (CPS) and Certified Administrative Professional (CAP) examinations.
