HERE ARE SOME RULES FOR HOME GAMES THAT EVERYONE MUST KNOW

THERE IS NO BEVERAGE BESIDES WATER ALLOWED ON THE FIELD AT HOME GAMES...
ANY TYPE OF SUGARED BEVERAGE WILL RUIN THE TURF.

ALSO--GUM OR FOOD OF ANY KIND IS NOT PERMITTED ON THE FIELD.

ONLY COACHES, OFFICIALS, OR BOARD MEMBERS ARE ALLOWED ON THE FIELD
DURING GAMES OR PRACTICES-

THESE RULES ARE TO EVERYONE'S BENEFIT- AND MUST BE STRICTLY ADHERED TO

IT IS UNFAIR TO HAVE THE SAME PEOPLE WORKING CONCESSION EVERY GAME WHEN WE HAVE SUCH A LARGE ORGANIZATION---

THE FOLLOWING ARE THE RULES FOR ALL ASTROTURF FIELDS IN THE LEAGUE- WHICH INCLUDES OUR HOME FIELD OF BUCKHORN STADIUM...

THERE WILL BE NO GATORADE OR ANY OTHER BEVERAGE BESIDES WATER ALLOWED ON THE FIELD..
UNLESS YOU ARE A COACH OR BOARD MEMBER YOU MAY NOT BE ON THE FIELD--
NO GUM OR FOOD OF ANY KIND ALLOWED ON THE FIELD!!!!!

THE FOLLOWING ARE THE DETAILED RULES FOR THE DUNMORE AND VALLEY VIEW FIELDS....




Dunmore High School Track and Field Policy

  • 1. No Gatorade or other sugared sports drinks. This includes colorless Gatorade.

    *******WATER ONLY********

  • 2. No Tobacco products, this includes chewing tobacco.

  • 3. No Gum

  • 4. No food of any kind especially sunflower seeds and nuts.

  • 5. No high heels on cheerleaders/halftime performers on the track surface. Sneakers only. They can wear the cheering boots on the field for the show but need to change back if they are going to perform on the track.

  • 6. No fire batons

  • 7. When entering the field please enter at the gate with the protective covering on the track. Please do not cross the track with your football spikes on.

  • 8. Only coaches (team & cheerleader coaches) with “field passes” will be allowed on the field. All “field passes” will be picked up at the Oilers concession stand and returned at the end of the game. Dunmore Staff will monitor entrance to the field.

  • 9. Please have players enter & exit the field only at the designated spot (no jumping the fence).

  • 10. All players that have already played a previous game (i.e. D & C games) must exit the field and NOT play on the sidelines after their game.

    VALLEY VIEW JR COUGARS STADIUM RULES

    • 3. No Gum
    • 4. No food of any kind, especially sunflower seeds and nuts, on the field.
    • 5. No high heels on cheerleaders/halftime performers, Sneakers only.
    • 6. No fire batons
    • 7. Only coaches (team & cheerleader coaches) with “field passes” will be allowed on the field.
      All “field passes” will be picked up at the entrance to the field.
    • 8. Please have players enter & exit the field only at the gates located behind each end zone. Please no jumping the fence!
    • 9. All players not involved in the game being played cannot be on the sidelines until it is their turn. Once your game is over you must exit the field immediately.
    • 10. Practice field is located behind the visitor’s bleachers. You can enter the practice field down by the field house located at the far end of the stadium.
    • 11. Absolutely no strollers allowed in the bleachers.
    • 12. Please no profanity or ridiculing of any players or cheerleaders.

      There are two sets of restrooms at the stadium. One set is located in the field house at the far end of the stadium, and the other set is located at each side of the concession stand.

        BASKETS ARE TO BE HANDED IN AT EQUIPMENT/UNIFORM HANDOUTS...
        BEFORE equipment will be handed out...


        ALL PARENTS ARE REQUIRED TO WORK IN THE CONCESSION STAND DURING HOME GAMES.

        THIS IS A PART OF PARTICIPATING IN A NON-PROFIT YOUTH SPORT. EVERYONE MUST DO THEIR SHARE.


        HERE'S A TIP FOR FOOTBALL PARENTS TRYING TO KEEP THE WHITE PANTS CLEAN!!!!
        SCRUBBING BUBBLES APPLIED TO THE STAINED AREA CAN WORK WONDERS!!!!
        ALSO- IF THE STAIN IS IN AN AREA WHERE IT IS JUST WHITE- YOU MAY WANT TO TRY A CLOROX BLEACH PEN ON THE STAIN IF ALL ELSE FAILS....BE CAREFUL NOT TO GET BLEACH ON THE PURPLE STRIPE!!!!



        OPEN MEETINGS OF THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS ARE HELD THE 3RD WED. OF EVERY MONTH.
        OFF SEASON MEETINGS ARE HELD IN THE NORTH PRIMARY CAFETERIA--BEGINNING AT 6:30 OR 7:00 PM
        IN SEASON MEETINGS ARE HELD AFTER PRACTICE IN THE GAZEBO.
