Welcome to all who are visiting our website!! Our chapter appreciates your interest.

Project Linus is a volunteer organization that allows for volunteers to work in a variety of settings. A “Blanketeer” ,as you will be called when you choose to join our chapter, may work on her/his own in the privacy of her/his home. If a Blanketeer chooses, our chapter sponsors two social gatherings where she/he may help in making blankets. The first opportunity is Quilting Bees that are held every other month. A second gathering of blanketeers occurs the 4th Saturday, every other month, at Ephrata Library Yarn-Ins (see Upcoming Yarn Ins and Quilting Bees for specific information). In addition to these opportunities, many Blanketeers form groups within their churches and collectively donate blankets to our chapter. Whatever route a Blanketeer takes, she/he has joined a group of warm, caring and loving volunteers. Each Blanketeer is appreciated regardless from which avenue she/he chooses to contribute.

People join for a number of reasons. Some are families who have received a Project Linus blanket and know how much comfort they can provide. Others join to honor a family member who has passed. An example is a volunteer who made a blanket a month for a year to honor her Mother’s memory. Still others see the importance of children and helping them in a time of need. Regardless of your reason for joining the Project Linus community, our chapter welcomes you with open arms. Whether you choose to make one blanket or keep making blankets, please remember each and every blanket makes a difference in a child’s life.

Joining us is as easy as taking a blanket to one of the Drop Off Locations. Keep up to date through our News and Newsletters. If you aren't located near Lancaster County, Pennsylvania, you can look for a Project Linus chapter closer to you through the Project Linus Headquarters website link.
